Well, the flight home was much better off than I had expected.
First, on the flight from Paris to Newark, I read one entire summer reading book (THE NAMESAKE) and honestly thought it was good. That means I only have 1/4 of a book left to read until I'm obligation free. Hooray! On the second leg of the trip, from Newark to Los Angeles, I got upgraded to first glass (double yay!) and found myself sitting next to a very interesting man. Guess who he happened to be? Dann Florek, from Law and Order/Law and Order SVU -- we talked for about four, five hours about film and theatre, and he's a really great guy. On top of that, my bruised foot has gotten much, much better, and I have loads of new music from my amazing friend in Paris I need to download. The one bummer is that when I got home, I couldn't, and still can't, find a CD I've been looking for. D: But other than that, I'm pretty content, attempting to type up responses to all the people I owe (which totals about... 10 posts, which'll kill me, but whatever). On the plane I saw Star Trek, like twice, Batman (the Tim Burton version), Cloverfield (again), and Groundhog Day (best movie ever).
And I guess that's it.
Oh, and school begins on Tuesday, which is a good and bad thing. I'll see all my friends, but I have to go back to working my butt off for the next X amount of months. Boo.
And I still wish I was in Paris and Venice. The two greatest cities ever. I miss gelato and crepes already.
But at least I'm home. :]

Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard
It seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end,
Will come when it will come.
